Prime Evaploc - 20L

Prime Evaploc is a water soluble liquid which, when sprayed on curing concrete, creates a plastic film that retards water evaporation. This greatly reduces the chances of plastic shrinkage (known as hairlines or hairline cracking) while making the concrete more workable for an extended period of time. The distinctive fluoro green colour ensures easy and even product application.

Uses:

• Curing freshly placed concrete to reduce plastic shrinkage cracking

• Suitable for driveways, pavements, slabs, and foundations

• Extends the time concrete remains workable by delaying surface crusting in windy and hot conditions

  
  

Benefits:

• Retards concrete water evaporation by up to 80% in windy conditions and up to 60% in sunlight

• Once applied, the concrete surface has a creamy feel under the trowel, making finishing easier without altering strength or durability

• Leaves no staining or residue once cured

Directions for use: Available in concentrate form in 20L drums, diluted 1:9 with water — a 20L drum covers approximately 1000m² of concrete. Mix 1 litre of concentrate with 9 litres of water; 10 litres of diluted product covers approximately 50m² with one coat. Apply with a backpack spray unit or garden sprayer — the first coat after screeding and bull floating, and a second coat after finishing.
